Carved ice sculpture

Start with the right photo.

Choose a readable outline and enough contrast to distinguish clear ice from its background.

What to expect

Replace the subject material with carved clear ice.

Keep an eye on

Compare subject count, recognizable identity, proportions and text against the original. Deliberate transformations are described in the prompt.

Make it yours, step by step.

1. Adjust the recipe to describe your subject and preferred background.
2. Copy the complete recipe, then open ChatGPT.
3. Upload your photo in ChatGPT and paste the recipe. The short code alone is not an official command.
4. Inspect identity, text and proportions. Ask for a targeted correction if needed.

Choose the change deliberately.

Ice needs thickness, cold highlights and some transmission through the body. Select a few inclusions or frosted patches instead of making the whole object equally white and opaque.

Review and refine the result

Check whether the outline remains readable against the background. If the result looks like pale plastic, request a clearer inner volume with restrained cracks. Keep cracks away from structural boundaries when they suggest the object has broken apart.

/GLASS — Clear glass usually benefits from cleaner transmission and fewer frosted or fractured details.

Where this effect helps — and its limits.

Useful for a carved-ice concept. Check edge definition and internal clarity; pale recoloring alone does not establish translucent ice.
